String Syndrome 1
General: Following encircling operati 434e48e ons or circular diathermy, chemosis, and excess protein exudation into the anterior chamber; onset between postoperative days 4 and 19; suture causing vascular obstruction; conuration of eye is a predisposing factor.
Ocular: Necrosis of iris; necrosis of ciliary body; corneal ring abscess; iritis; deep anterior chamber; proptosis; lid edema; chemosis of conjunctiva; ocular hypertension; iris assumes a green color; retinal detachment.
Clinical: None.
