Straw Peter Syndrome (Slovenly Peter Syndrome; Struwwelpeter Syndrome)
General: Etiology unknown; combination 232d39c of organic and environmental factors; affects 5% to 20% of the general school population; in preschool-aged children, manifested as clumsiness, abnormal activity level, and disorganized thought process; in school-aged children, manifested as distractibility and learning disability.
Ocular: Strabismus; impaired visual perception.
Clinical: Hyperkinesia; restlessness; fidgetiness; disorganized thought process; hypokinesia; impulsivity; poor coordination of fingers; motor awkwardness; impaired auditory perception.
