Ocular: Conjunctivitis; keratitis; corneal ulcer; tenonitis; exophthalmos; microphthalmos; optic atrophy; optic neuritis; papillitis; scleritis; uveitis; cortical blindness; congenital punctal occlusion; paralysis of extraocular muscles; dacryoadenitis; iritis; paralysis of accommodation; internal and external ophthalmoparesis.
Clinical: Affects the parotid glands, but infection of other glandular tissue occurs, including the lacrimal gland and testicles; encephalitis; meningitis.
